Believers of famed blind mystic, Baba Vanga say she predicted coronavirus and Trump’s death. She also predicted 9/11

Before passing away at the age of 84, Baba Vanga made a number of prophecies which gave her the title of “the Nostradamus of the Balkans.” It is believed that the Bulgarian mystic even predicted major events such as 9/11 and Brexit, several years before they actually took place.

Now, one of Baba Vanga’s followers has come forward to claim that the blind mystic warned her about the coronavirus during a visit. 73-year-old Neshka Stefanova Robeva, who worked as the coach for a number of Bulgarian rhythmic gymnasts, had once visited Baba Vanga before she passed away and that was when she reportedly mentioned “corona.”

Neshka wrote on social media about the conversation she had with the soothsayer, as reported by Daily Star.

“This virus came to us, too,” Neshka’s post reportedly said. “Aunt Vanga predicted when I visited her years ago: ‘Neshka, the Corona will be all over us.’ I did not realise what those words meant then.”

At the time, Neshka did not quite understand what Baba Vanga was trying to tell her. She thought the mystic’s words might have something to do with Russian leadership in the country because the word “corona” means guardianship in their language. Neshka said she thought the country would be “under Russian guardianship,” and added, “only now did I realise that it was Chinese flu. May it go away easily.”

Not only are there claims of the soothsayer having predicted the pandemic but there are also some that are claiming she was accurate when she made a prophecy about President Donald Trump succumbing to illness.

Baba Vanga predicted that a time would come when the 45th president of the United States of America would contract an unknown disease, as reported by The Sun. And now that the president tested positive for the coronavirus and is currently under quarantine, followers are claiming that her prediction came true.

But it must be kept in mind that not everything that Baba Vanga said has come true. Her prophecies also said that between the years of 2010 and 2014, a nuclear war would break out but this has not come true, according to Mirror. As for the predictions she made about the American president, Baba Vanga even foretold that Trump would have a brain tumor that could go two ways; it would either leave him deaf or dead, as reported by The Sun.

Some believe that she foresaw the 9/11 attack all the way back in 1989 when she told her followers, “Horror, horror! The American brothers will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing.”

While she was alive, Baba Vanga was seen as a very important figure in Bulgaria, as reported by Mirror. She was put on the state payroll by the government and there was even a team of staff solely responsible for noting down the prophecies she made. The staff would even make note of the conversations she had with individuals who would seek advice from the blind mystic.

She reportedly lost her eyesight during a dust storm but believers of the soothsayer claim that this is what gave her the “second sight” that allowed her to see and predict events of the future. Staunch believers use research conducted by a former director of the Bulgarian Institute of Suggestology, Professor Georgi Lozanov, to claim that 85 percent of Baba Vanga’s predictions are accurate, according to The Sun. But a 2012 Washington Post report claimed that it was mostly viral social media posts that led to Baba Vanga being inaccurately credited with certain prophecies.
